The large PHR hardness test for large workpieces such as large or extra large moulds, castings, forgings, shafts, rollers, pipes and assembled parts as well as other large machinery parts such as annealed, quenched, high frequency quenched, and carburized metal parts.

Small indentation, high efficiency, available for NDT and one-by-one test for finished batch products or semi-finished workpieces.

Its accuracy is more than 1 time higher than that of commonly used Leeb hardness testers, less factors that affect test accuracy, lower requirement on the roughness of the tested surface, more acceptable worldwide. Readings meet the requirements of most standards and do not need to be converted.

Readings can be converted into HB or tensile strength values (σb).

Test method and accuracy comply with GB/T230, ISO6508 and ASTM E18.
